Originally formed in the early 90's as a semi-professional
5 piece live band, Shakir quickly earned a reputation
throughout club land with it's professional and talented
live soft rock show.
After a successful start the band re-formed to
become a 3 piece professional trio with three lead vocals
with music from Bon Jovi, Cher, Meatloaf, Tina
Turner, Bryan Adams, Starship, Gary Moore and
many many more rock favourites.
In 2004, Travis, one of the original members revived Shakir,
bringing back all the Rock classics, still featuring three
live vocals and guitars.
Shakir uses a professional Martin PA and a fully computerised
audio and lighting system to reproduce a dynamic sound
and visual show.
